Abstract
The globulin fraction from seeds of the tribe Vicieae consists mainly of 13 S and 7 S proteins, legumin and vicilin, which differ in their molecular weights, isoelectric points, amino acid composition and quaternary structure as well as in the dynamics of biosynthesis and in their concentration within the cotyledons of mature seeds (lit. cf. (3)).
