Abstract
The extent of the refining and homogenizing progress was studied on the basis of residence time, thermal history and reduction of inhomogeneity. The results were compared with the performance of six actual furnaces respectively. Furthermore, the study was made on the effect of the imaginary alteration with respect to some factors of a glass tank furnace.
