Abstract
AbstractCatalyzed N‐alkylation of N,O‐bistrimethylsilyl pyroglutamic acid with trimethylsilyl benzhydryl ethers yields trimethylsilyl N‐benzhydrylpyroglutamates. Hydrolysis of these compounds or saponification of the methyl esters gives the corresponding acids.
