Abstract

ABSTRACTThe several strawberry isolates of AMV collected from different regions of country were investigated. The identification of virus was carried out by I-ELJSA test. The observation of symptoms on natural infected plants, after graft-inoculation and plants-inoculation showed wide variations. Depending on intensity of theirs display were divide in three groups—weaks (K1, B1, P1, P2, S1, S2), middles (K2, G1), and strongly (K3, B2, B3, G2). The experience for nematode—transmission of AMV by natural populations of Xiphinema diversicaudatum to Chenopodium quinoa was successful for cv. Cambridge Favourite (isolates K1, K2, K3) collected from Kostinbrod regions. The results in this paper are first report for isolation and identification of AMV from strawberry plants in Bulgaria. This give possibility for more attentive control in producing of strawberry plants free of viruses.
