Abstract
AbstractFifteen compounds based on (2‐phenyl‐2‐methylpropyl)dicyclohexyltinO,O‐dialkyldithiophosphates have been synthesized by the reaction of (2‐phenyl‐2‐methylpropyl)dicyclohexyltin chloride with potassiumO,O‐dialkyldithiophosphoric acids. Their structure and composition were characterized by1H NMR, IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and X‐ray diffraction. The structure of PhMe2CCH2Sn(Cy2)S2P(OC6H4tBu‐4)2has been shown to consist of a four‐coordinate tin atom in a slightly distorted tetrahedral geometry. Biological activities were tested for some of the compounds. The results show that these kinds of compound have acaricidal activity. Copyright © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
