Abstract

The commercial pour point depressant Paraflow was separated by rubber membrane dialysis and the molecular structure of the most effective component in Paraflow, i. e. the residue of rubber membrane dialysis was analyzed by IR, MS, NMR and GPC. As the results, the most effective component as pour point depressant was found to exist 14wt% in Paraflow and their mean molecular weight was 6, 100 and their mean molecular structure was considered to be as following:x: Degree of polymerization, about 6And there were some fractions having 20, 000 molecular weight in Paraflow.
