Abstract

Wrinkle recovery of wool fabric was measured using TEFO's Conic Wrinkling Tester in order to evaluate the effect of changing temperature at constant humidity during wrinkle deformation. The temperature range investigated was 20-45°C, and the humidity was kept constant at 65% RH. The results show that severe wrinkling occurs in wool fabric when a temperature change is made during deformation and when the temperature during the recovery period is less than that during wrinkling.
