Abstract

Studies of 90Sr migration in soil systems require determination of some factors affecting this process. One of the most important factors is sorption of strontium cation in the presence of other ions. The paper presents the õstudies on Sr (II) sorption in the presence of phosphate ions in the solution. It was found that under the study cations at pH (3–10) in the presence of phosphate cation sorption increases depending on the soil type. The isotherms can be described by Freundlich equation.
