Abstract

Photoaging is a term used to describe the clinical and histological findings in habitually sun-exposed skin in middle-aged and elderly adults. Photoaging has been also called dermatoheliosis (from Greek derma-skin, Helios- the sun god) (1), or heliodermatitis (2). the latter term reflecting the low grade inflammatory nature of the process.
