Abstract

Abstract The first pioneering investigations of organic semiconductors in the USSR were carried out already in 1938–1941 in A. N. Terenin's Laboratory in Leningrad. At this time A. N. Terenin and his coworkers began to study photochemical oxidation processes in organic dyes including electron transfer problems in solid dye-stuffs.
