Studies of comparing teaching laboratory with clinical laboratory of medical laboratory technology in aspect of biological safety

Abstract

In order to establish biological safety system for teaching laboratory of medical laboratory technology,teaching laboratory is compared with clinical laboratory in aspect of biological safety.Comparing with clinical laboratory,results show that teaching laboratory is multi-functional; biological specimen for practice teaching are more manageable; there are more operating individuals with poor understanding of prevention from potential biological risk ; it is more difficult to manage experimental objects,and no effective methods are applied to dispose personal items of students.These observations can be used as fundamental considerations for the establishment of biological safety system for teaching laboratory of medical laboratory technology in future.
