Abstract

This article introduces the academic policy actions developed by the Brazilian National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Theology and Sciences of Religion (ANPTECRE) in the last 5 years in Brazil. We describe the details to deploy the new Knowledge Tree in the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) for this study area in Sciences of Religion and Theology. Furthermore, this paper comments on the current stage of academic production in graduate programs in Theology and Sciences of Religion (Ciencias da Religiao) in the country, according to data from the Brazilian Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) in the last 3-year evaluation period.
