Abstract

Additionally, proactive personality is also considered important by most people in improving an individual's work performance. Various types of research on job performance have been conducted, one of which is linked to personality aspects. In the search, some studies have shown inconsistent results between proactive personality and job performance. Therefore, this meta-analysis study aims to investigate the correlation between proactive personality and job performance. Based on data from 9 journals that met the inclusion criteria, the effect size value was found to be 0.216 (95% CI = 0.065 to 0.367), p = 0.005, with an inconsistency value (I2) of 91.23%. Thus, proactive personality towards job performance is classified as having a small effect size.
