Abstract
The aim of this study are (1) describes the targets for the application of narrative counseling, (2) describes the scope of application narrative counseling, (3) describes the procedures for application narrative counseling, and (4) describes the successful application of narrative counseling. The approach used is qualitative with a type of literature review. The data sources used are 25 research data that correspond to the problems to the problem studied. The data collection technique used is documentation (document analysis). The result of this study are (1) the target of application of narrative counseling are children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly, (2) the scope of application or narrative counselling are personal, social, academic, and career areas, (3) the procedures for application of narrative counseling are good relationship building, problem identification, implementation of narrative counseling techniques, and follow up with termination, and (4) the successful application of narrative counseling is able to resolve problems such as depression, lonely, negative self concept, low happiness, death anxiety, identity crisis, ADHD, low self acceptance, communication anxiety, social phobia, low marital satisfaction, low motivation to learn, and desperate to find a job.
