Abstract

The objective of the research was to find out the students’ perceptions of learning writing narrative text through online learning. The study was conducted in MTs Al-Jihad Pontianak in Academic Year 2021/2022. It was quantitative and qualitative research. The findings of the research showed that most students perceived that learning writing narrative texts through online mode is both positive and negative. For the students an online learning mode enables them to learn writing narrative texts without attending the school in person, however, the students perceived that an online learning does not help them understand the concept of writing narrative texts better due to network problems and the absence of discussion with other students.Keywords: Online Learning, Students’ Perception, Narrative Text.
