Abstract

A voluntary critique of endodontic access preparations was offered to all graduating seniors upon completion of the terminal endodontic clinical post-test. The purpose of the critique session was to evaluate a student's self-assessment skills and to determine whether any benefits occur from the review. The students were not informed of this purpose. The students that participated scored higher on the state board examination than those that did not participate in the self-critique session.
