Abstract

AbstractAnnealing of copolymer crystals from 1,3,5‐trioxane and 1‐chloro‐2,3‐epoxypropane (epichlorohydrin (ECH)) was conducted in a differential calorimeter (DSC) and the changes in enthalpy and entropy as well as the shape of the melting curves were observed. The changes in melting enthalpy and the shape of the melting curves were found to depend characteristically on the content of epichlorohydrin comonomeric units in the copolymers. A model for the changes of the crystal by annealing is suggested.
