Abstract

The MOGADOC database (Molecular Gasphase Documenation) is a powerful tool to retrieve information about compounds which have been studied in the gas phase by means of electron diffraction, microwave spectroscopy or radio astronomy. Presently the database contains over 29,300 bibliographic references (from the inception of each method) for about 8700 inorganic, organic and organometallic compounds including numerical datasets for bond lengths and angles for about 5100 compounds. Two-dimensional and three-dimensional retrievals (searching of structural formulas and their fragments and the numeric searching of bond lengths and bond angles, respectively) are described.
