Abstract

The model of a bubbly medium defined in [i] is used to describe stationary shock waves in liquids containing vapor bubbles with allowance for unsteady interphase heat and mass transfer. The structure of a stationary shock wave in a one-component vaporliquid bubbly medium was investigated in [2, 3]. Here, the object is to investigate the effect of interphase heat and mass transfer and diffusion processes in the vaporliquid medium on the structure of the stationary wave associated with steady or sufficiently prolonged action on a two-component two-phase mixture, together with the effect of the component composition on the wave structure.
