Abstract
The X-ray structure analysis shows that the digold tetraruthenium cluster [μ-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethene-5κP:6κP']-dodecacarbonyl-1κ 3 C,2κ 2 C,3κ 3 C,4κ 3 C-μ 3 -hydrido-1:2:3κ 3 H-μ-hydrido-1:4κ 2 H-digoldtetraruthenium (6 Ru-Ru)(4 Ru-Au)(Au-Au), [Au 2 Ru 4 (μ 3 -H)(μ-H)(μ-Ph 2 PCH=CHPPh 2 )(CO) 12 ] (1), adopts a capped square-based pyramid geometry. The metal core consists of a square-based pyramid defined by two Au atoms and two Ru atoms in the basal plane with an Ru atom at the apex
