Abstract
The title complex, nonacarbonyl-1κ 3 3C,2κ 3 C,3κ 3 C-μ-ethylidene-2:3κ 2 C-di-μ-hydrido-1:2κ 2 H;2:3κ 2 H-triisopropylphosphine-1κP-triangulo-triosmium-(3 Os-Os), contains an irregular Os 3 triangle [Os-Os=3.088 (1)2.797 (1) A], with an ethylidene and one hydrido ligand bridging two Os atoms, and a P i Pr 3 ligand coordinated in an equatorial position to the third Os atom. A second bridging hydride is coordinated cis to the phosphine ligand
