Abstract

Repeated fractionation of the n-BuOH extract of the aerial parts of Isodon oresbius gave a new diterpene glycoside, named oresbiuside (1), whose structure was established as 18-(β-D-glucopyransyl)-7α,12α,14β,15β-tetrahydroxy-ent-kaur-16-ene (1) mainly by a combination of 1D and 2D NMR techniques (1H and 13C NMR, DEPT, COSY, NOESY, HMBC and HMQC).
