Abstract

The structure of bulk specimens of powders of Bi2Te2.7Se0.3 solid solution after severe torsional plastic deformation at a pressure of 250 MPa and a temperature of 380°C is studied. The microstructure of the specimens is determined by the methods of x-ray diffractometry and scanning and transmission electron microscopy. The effect of the size of the particles of the initial powder on the faulted structure of the material and on its heat resistance is studied.
