Abstract

The equilibrium domain structure in ferrite-garnet films with a weak uniaxial anisotropy is studied experimentally at temperatures of 90−450K. Two types of spin-reorientation phase transitions are found which occur on opposite sides of the magnetic compensation temperature. The change in the structure of the domain boundaries during phase transitions is studied. A model for the domain structure is proposed that is consistent with the experiment.
