Structure of CIM methodology for information modeling of the urban environment based on the integration of BIM and GIS technologies

Abstract

The article considers a solution of the problem of information modeling urban environment. The structure of the components of the CIM (City Information Modeling) methodology is proposed. The model of integration of BIM (Building Information Modeling) and GIS (Geographic Information System) technologies for development of the unified CIM standard which should become a basis of the integrated information platform of the commom data for modeling of the urban environment is presented.
