Abstract

The use of the structure functions formalism to describe the electromagnetic radiative corrections in e+e- colliders is described. Examples are given of specific applications to physical quantities. The total cross section with both initial and final state radiative corrections is derived, pt dependent structure functions are introduced and applied to the radiative neutrino counting problem. Expressions are derived for the forward-backward asymmetry A FB. The problem of the next-to-leading factorization and of the use of structure functions to construct a Monte Carlo type algorithm is also briefly sketched
