Abstract

Oriented porous polypropylene fi lms subjected to thermal fi xation under isometric conditions were prepared and studied. The thermal fi xation parameters ensuring the stability of the pore structure of the specimens were determined. The fi lm permeability as a function of the thermal fi xation temperature passes through a maximum at ~130°С. The behavior of the free porous specimens on heating was studied, and the changes in the permeability and pore structure characteristics in the course of the fi lm shrinkage were determined.
