Abstract
Structural studies of superionic glasses in the AgGeS system were performed using neutron diffraction with isotopic substitution of silver (107Ag, 109Ag and natAg) to understand the local environment of Ag+ ions. Real-space correlations, with and without Ag contributions, have been obtained from the first differences of the differential functions, D(r). The second differences of the D(r) functions yielded the AgAg correlation function. GeS and AgS correlations were also identified and their coordination numbers and bond lengths estimated.
