Abstract

Aiming at the problems of strong electromagnetic interference, high cost and high failure rate existing in the commonly used medium and high frequency electromagnetic induction heating equipment, this paper proposes a new power frequency electric heating method, which utilizes the electromagnetic coupling principle, makes the secondary winding serve as both conductor and heating body, and realizes the direct heating of the secondary winding. The design of electromagnetic coupling direct heating device is carried out. Using ANSYS Maxwell software, the three-dimensional electromagnetic field finite element simulation analysis is carried out. Taking 6kV/2MW unit as an example, the simulation experiment proves that the structure could realize direct heating by electromagnetic coupling under the power frequency of 50Hz, and the heating efficiency could reach more than 95.7%. At the same time, the influence of the structure size and other related parameters on the heating efficiency is analyzed. This method provides a new design idea and solution to high power frequency, high voltage and high power electrothermal equipment.
