Abstract

A study was made of the structure and properties of mixtures of phthalocyanine pigment (PCP) and di-paramethyldibenzylidene-sorbitol (MDBS) with isotactic polypropylene (PP). The similarity and difference in the mechanism of the nucleating effect of PCP by comparison with MDBS are shown. The effects of MDBS and PCP on the physicomechanical properties of modified PP are compared.
