Abstract

The article looks into the conditions for origination and stability areas of magnetic inhomogeneities of the static soliton type in a (001) crystal plate with a combined anisotropy. It has been shown that static solitons can localize upon defects of certain types and at some values of material parameters. It has been found that the soliton stability area is bounded by the two sets of limit values of material parameters: with one set the soliton is unstable relative to a collapse, with the other—the soliton diffuses. It has been discovered that the soliton stability area substantially differs from the one that was theoretically predicted in the model, which did not account for finiteness of the sample and availability of defects therein.
