Abstract

The data on J/ψ→γK+K− from the BES experiment at the Beijing electron-positron collider have been analyzed. We find two resonances in the 1.7 GeV region which were identified as fJ(1710): a scalar with mass 1781±8−31+10(MeV) and width 85±24−19+22(MeV), and a tensor with mass 1696±5−34+9(MeV) and width 103±18−11+30(MeV). The resulting branching ratios B(J/ψ→γfJ)B(fJ→K+K−) are ( 0.8±0.1−0.1+0.3)10−4 for J=0 and ( 2.5±0.4−0.4+0.9)10−4 for J=2, respectively.Received 6 August 1996DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevLett.77.3959©1996 American Physical Society
