Abstract
The conditions of occurrence of high-temperature fcc →fct martensitic transformation in alloys of the Mn – Cu system containing two isomorphic nanocrystalline γ1 and γ2 phases with high and low manganese content, respectively, are considered. The structure formed as a result is studied. The mechanisms of straining of the inhomogeneous fct-martensite and the factors determining its strength properties are determined.
