Abstract
Based on the criterion of minimum of the airliner turbine starting device DC-DC converter semiconductor elements total installed power, the choice of a multi-polar structure of its power circuit was made. In this case, it is shown that an additional effect of semiconductor elements total installed power reducing is an increase of the DC-DC converter conversion frequency, which provides a significant improvement of its mass and dimensions by means of a proportional decrease in of the reactive elements parameters. The efficiency of the structural synthesis performed has been evaluated. The maximum efficiency is achieved by applying the structure corresponding to the minimum total installed power of the used semiconductor elements. A comparative analysis of the total volume of semiconductor elements for cascade multipolar and cascade unipolar structures has been performed to demonstrate the effect of improving mass and dimensions by decreasing the value of installed power. The frequency characteristics of cascade unipolar and multipolar structures have been evaluated to confirm the additional effect of increasing the conversion frequency at decreasing the total installed power.
