Abstract

The novel Fe/Nb co-doped Ba(Co0.8Fe0.1Nb0.1)O3-δoxide was synthesized by the solid-state reaction method. Structural, sintering and oxygen sorption properties of the Ba(Co0.8Fe0.1Nb0.1)O3-δoxide were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and thermogravimetry (TG). The results demonstrate that the structural stability of the Fe/Nb co-doped Ba(Co0.8Fe0.1Nb0.1)O3-δoxide is improved significantly. The oxygen sorption property of the Fe/Nb co-doped Ba(Co0.8Fe0.1Nb0.1)O3-δoxide was investigated in air between 300°C and 900°C, and an oxygen sorption capacity of 7.0 mL(STP) O2/g oxide is obtained.
