Abstract

Chinese analogisms are defined by certain specific features, which will be introduced and analyzed proceeding from their tight connection to semantic issues. In this context, this essay mainly investigates ancient Confucian and Mohist philosophy, for the members of these two schools of thought dealt with analogisms in a most comprehensive way.
