Abstract

A continuous random network (CRN) model of amorphous Si3N4 (a-Si3N4) has been constructed using plastic balls and spokes. Radial distribution functions (RDFs) and structure factors of the model have been calculated and compared with experimental data. It has been found that a-Si3N4 structure can be represented by a CRN model.
