Abstract

Structural properties of pure bismuth ferrite and calcium modified Bi(1-x)CaxFeO3 (x = 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20 and 0.30) thin films were successfully synthesized on pre cleaned glass substrates by using a simple spray pyrolysis method. The samples were prepared at 450°C and sintered at temperature 550°C for 2h in air atmosphere. The structure and morphology of the samples were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The reitveld refinement of X-ray diffraction predicts the distorted rhombohedral perovskite structure with space group R3c.
