Abstract

The present article is devoted to investigation of structural discordances of English and Uzbek set phrases which are often used in the process of communication. Theoretical points are proved by examples of set expressions of both analyzed languages. This theme is actual because such discordances create difficulties for translators and specialists of international relations.
