Abstract
The structural development of the central North Fiji Basin triple junction is revealed in SeaMARC II sidescan imagery. All three limbs have unique morphotectonic characteristics and the adjacent sea-floor fabric is oblique to the limb axes. The triple junction is interpreted to be a recent phenomenon and to have formed by a discrete jump to its present site.
