Abstract

The ITER Bottom Correction Coil (BCC) is an important part of the ITER magnet system, which is used to compensate the error field of other coils caused by non-axial symmetry. The BCC lifting frame is used in the process of lifting the BCC to the temporary position in the pit, and the BCC lifting frame is also suitable for the Top Correction Coil (TCC). According to the actual working conditions, the load combination of BCC lifting frame is considered, and the tilting 6° in 4 directions is considered when the BCC lifting frame is used. The finite element analysis ensures that the BCC lifting frame can meet the stress analysis criteria. On the basis of finite element analysis, 12 lower lifting points of the lifting frame were tested with appropriate loads, and it was proved that the BCC lifting frame met the deformation evaluation criteria of load test.
