The syntheses and structural characterization of a series of mononuclear bis(pyrazolyl)hydroborato thallium complexes Tl[Bp Bu t R] (R = Me, Pr ii , Bu t ) are described. In each case, the two-coorinate Tl( I) centers of Tl[Bp Bu t,R ] are supplemented by secondary [Tl…H-B] interactions.
