Abstract

Peculiarities of the structure formation of calcium phosphate thin films on titanium, obtained by HF magnetron sputtering during thermal annealing, have been investigated by in situ x-ray diffractometry using synchrotron radiation (SR). It has been shown that formation of a nanostructured film corresponding to polycrystalline hydroxyapatite (HA) according to the XRD data takes place at temperatures of 700–750°C.
