Abstract

Abstract1H NMR of the tricyclic molecule 3 ‐ Cyano ‐1,2,2‐ trimethyl ‐ 6 ‐ azatricyclo ‐[3.3.1.03,8]non‐6‐ene does not permit the distinction between this structure and the other regioisomer that can be formed in a photochemically induced reaction. The elucidation of the structure was possible via the assignment of the 1H and 13C NMR spectra of this compound obtained using two‐dimensional NMR spectroscopy.
