Abstract
Linguistic analysis of multicomponent term-combinations of the sphere of sociolinguistics allowed to determine their productive models on the material of two languages. The basis of the analyzed nominative terminological units is a separate term or a two-component term, which contributes to establishment of the clear structural hierarchy of sociolinguistic terms based on the principle of hyper-hypo relationships. In our study, we also considered the translation aspect of English multicomponent terms when translating into Ukrainian. In turn, we considered the most productive models of translation of multicomponent terminology structures, identified their most probable inter-component connections and analyzed the main stages and methods of translation
