Abstract

The modeling of thermomechanical treatment of structural Al-Mg-Sc (type 1575) and Fe-Cr (highly nitrogenized 04Kh20 steel) alloys with the face-centered cubic lattice is carried out using a DIL 805 dilatometer. The reported results correspond to the compression rates of 10−3–10−1 s−1 and temperatures of (0.3–0.9)Tm. When performing the thermomechanical treatment, the diagrams of coefficients of mechanical energy dissipation which are plotted in \(T - \dot \varepsilon\) coordinates are considered as the optimization criteria. The internal structure of the alloys is studied using the methods of optical and electron microscopy.
