Abstract

A novel method for analysing complex 57Fe Mōssbauer spectra was successfully applied to nanostructured Fe 79Cu 1Nb 7B 13. This method allows to find a model with the largest meaningful number of lines, which is given by the criteria that all parameters should be well defined. The model results in information about the iron nanograins, the amorphous residual phase and the so-called interface zone.
