Abstract
Coming together as a triumvirate of nursing specialties within the cardio-metabolic field, the British Society for Heart Failure Nurse Forum, the Association of Nephrology Nurses and the Diabetes Specialist Nurse Forum UK unanimously agreed that we are ‘stronger together’ and that a combined voice would be of great benefit—both in terms of managing clinical complexity, and in tackling professional issues. This report summarises the inaugural meeting held in July 2022 of the ‘heart failure, renal and diabetes’ group that was duly formed.
