Abstract

In this paper, we analyze the doubly heavy spin-3/2--spin-1/2 baryons and light meson vertices within the method of light-cone QCD sum rules. These vertices are parametrized in terms of one (three) coupling constant(s) for the pseudoscalar (vector) mesons. The said coupling constants are calculated for all possible transitions. The results presented here can serve to be useful information in experimental as well as theoretical studies of the properties of doubly heavy baryons.

Summary

INTRODUCTION

The quark model predicts the existence of many doubly heavy baryons. Ξþcc was discovered in experiments in the decay modes Λþc K−πþ and pDþK− with the mass mΞþcc 1⁄4 3518.7 Æ 17 MeV by the SELEX Collaboration at Fermilab [1,2] and Ξþccþ was observed by the LHCb Collaboration [3,4] in the Λþc K−πþπþ mass spectrum and confirmed via measuring Ξþccþ → Ξþc πþ with the mass mΞþccþ 1⁄4 3621.24 Æ 0.65 Æ 0.31 MeV. To determine the coupling constants of the pseudoscalar and vector mesons with the spin-3=2-to-spin-1=2 doubly heavy baryons within the LCSR, we consider the following correlation function:. For the calculations of the strong coupling constants of pseudoscalar (vector) mesons with the spin-3=2 and spin-1=2 baryons, the ordered Dirac matrices are chosen in the form =qp=γμðγμ=ε=qp=γ5Þ Taking into account these facts and using Eqs. (16) and (17), it follows that, in the calculation of the correlation functions from the QCD side, the matrix elements hMðqÞjq Γiqj0i and hMðqÞjq ΓiGðλnτÞqj0i appear, where fΓig is the full set of Dirac matrices, Γi These matrix elements are the main nonperturbative input parameters of the LCSR and they are expressed in terms of light meson DAs of different twists. Since the masses of the spin-3=2 and spin-1=2 doubly heavy baryons are close to each other, we put M21 1⁄4 M22 1⁄4 2M2 here and in all the following discussions
