Abstract
The validity of the strong interior and the strong boundary maximum principle is proved in this paper for cooperative linear weakly coupled systems of elliptic PDE’s. Moreover, if a non-negative absolute maximum is attained at some interior point for one of the components of the solution, then all components of the solution are equal to the same constant. Strong interior maximum principle for viscosity solutions of fully nonlinear cooperative elliptic systems is proved as well.
